Jennifer Lawrence Had No Problem Eating Elizabeth Banks’ Birthday Cake
New rule of thumb: If Jennifer Lawrence is around, then you should probably consider hiding your food.
It’s no secret that the Hunger Games star is serious eater. The girl is almost always hungry, a topic that frequently pops up when she’s promoting a new movie or hanging out on the red carpet at awards shows. Lawrence loves a good meal, even if the foodstuff in question is there to celebrate another person’s birthday.
Elizabeth Banks discovered her co-star’s penchant for consuming everything in sight while shooting The Hunger Games. Since Banks had a birthday cake all lined up to celebrate the occasion, Jennifer Lawrence didn’t hesitate to dive in.
“Well, recently everyone surprised me on the set of ‘Mockingjay’ with a birthday cake! And, of course, the first person to delve into my cake was Jennifer. I will say she’s a girl who likes to eat and I love that about her,” Banks recently told Cosmopolitan.
Although the actress may have taken issue with Jennifer Lawrence and her obsession with other people’s food, she seems to have nothing but the utmost respect for her. The Inquisitr previously reported that Elizabeth Banks firmly believes the American Hustle star is just as cool as you’d imagine.
“She is exactly what people hope that she is, which is really fun, easygoing gal you’d want to hang out with. You definitely want to have a beer with her,” Banks said.
Since Lawrence absolutely adores food, the actress previously said she doesn’t intend to lose weight just to secure a major Hollywood role. In fact, Jennifer believes that anyone who suggests she diet before shooting a movie should go “f***” themselves.
“I was young. It was just the kind of s**t that actresses have to go through. Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn’t lose a certain amount of weight. They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.
Considering Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood at the moment, chances are nobody will tell the actress what to do anytime soon. Producers want the girl to continue making movies, so it’s highly unlikely anyone is willing to push their luck.
