Hayley Hasselhoff: David’s Daughter Hits The Runway As Plus Size Model

Hayley Hasselhoff isn’t just David’s daughter anymore.

Now the 21-year-old actress is making a mark on her own as a plus size model, appearing at the British Plus Size Fashion show and London’s Vinopolis. Hasselhoff wore a little black dress and platinum blonde hair pulled back in a tight ponytail as she took the the runway.

David wasn’t in attendance in London to see Hayley Hasselhoff strut her stuff, but later wrote, “So proud of my daughter @hhasselhoff good luck this weekend in London! Wish I could be there!”

Hayley Hasselhoff took the opportunity to grab a multi-perspective selfie in the mirror as she was getting gussied up beforehand and rubbed elbows with some other famous models.

“Back stage with the gorgeous @HHasselhoff for @BPSFW #runway show today!” America’s Next Top Model Cycle 10 winner Whitney Thompson, the first plus size model to win on the show, wrote on Instagram. “@ArcadiaSocial #antm#milkmanagement #plus #model #blondes #curves#work.”

Hayley Hasselhoff is listed as 5-foot-6 on IMDB, and says she’s between size 12 and 14.

Hayley said she hopes the event and the attention can bring plus size modeling more into the forefront.

“Calling it ‘plus size’ doesn’t do it justice,” she said after a preview for reporters. “It’s about women with curves, and women of all shapes and sizes. I just hope one day (events like this) will get the same respect.”

Hayley isn’t the only one bringing attention to plus size modeling. Australian model Robyn Lawley was named as the first plus size Ralph Lauren covergirl, her work opening up doors for other models with non-traditional body types.

“Robyn is absolutely paving the way for fuller figured women to land these larger campaigns,” People magazine’s senior writer Jen Garcia said.

While Hayley Hasselhoff may not be at the level of Robyn Lawley, she still made a splash at the London event this week, garnering headlines and good marks for her debut.
