Busch Gardens Williamsburg to Get Epic New Coaster in 2012


According to Behindthethrills.com, a popular theme park news site, Busch Gardens Williamburg recently began construction on new roller coaster ride they plan on debuting in 2012.

The park, which is located in James City County, Virginia, roughly 3 miles outside of Williamsburg, is themed around the history and culture of old-world Europe.

Opening in 1975, Busch Gardens Williamsburg– which was originally called Busch Gardens: The Old Country due to its Euro-theme- now hosts nearly 3 million visitors per year, making it one of the top 20 visited theme parks in the United States.

Being that the park is well known for its impressively rated collection of roller coasters- Griffon, The Curse of DarKastle, and Apollo’s Chariot to name a few- it will be interesting to see what is in store for 2012.
