Nicole Scherzinger Is Leaving The X Factor: ‘It Breaks Her Heart’

Nicole Scherzinger just announced that she has quit the X Factor UK where she has been a judge for almost seven years.

The former Pussycat Doll is not taking the decision to leave the show lightly, as a source told the British tabloid newspaper, The Sun: “It breaks her heart, but Nicole is sad not to be able to go back to the show this year,” the source said.

According to other reports, Nicole Scherzinger is distraught about the fact that she is having to leave the X Factor having been a panelist on seasons five, seven, nine and ten.

The inside source continued: “She has agonized over this decision for months. She put her music career on hold last year but now she has to focus on her music.”

Furthermore, according to all reports, Nicole Scherzinger is considered to be part and parcel of the X Factor family and her decision to leave has caused no bad feelings with her colleagues on the show.

“She will always be part of the X Factor family,” the source added.

The X Factor itself has been suffering from low ratings both Stateside and in the UK. The creator of the show, Simon Cowell, announced on Friday that the X Factor USA was cancelled and that he will return to being a judge on X Factor UK.

Most people suggest that Cheryl Cole will replace Nicole Scherzinger as a judge on the show but other rumors suggest that Rita Ora could also be considered for the position.

Either way there is no doubt that Nicole Scherzinger‘s decision to leave the X Factor is a tough one for her as she goes on to pursue her own music career.
