Bethenny Frankel Exposes Make Up Free Face In A Selfie

At the end of the day, Bethenny Frankel may be known for her personal life being on display on The Real Housewives of New York City. After spending three seasons on the reality show, celebrating the rich and lavish style that comes with being wealthy is an image that was projected on the show and something that follows the reality star even though she has departed from the series.

Frankel, now a television host of a unsuccessful daytime talk show, recently stripped away that famous image she’s known for and decided to show the real Bethenny. What she revealed was a make up free selfie on Twitter for all of her followers to see.

Her Twitter post isn’t where her make up free decision started. After losing a Super Bowl bet with Michael Strahan, Bethenny co-hosted last Thursday’s episode of Live! With Kelly and Michael without an ounce of make up on. Because the reality star lost the bet to Strahan, she was not allowed to use any beauty products, which would have been unheard of in the days when she was simply a reality star. A few days later Frankel decided to follow the make up free hosting job by posing a fresh faced selfie make up free.

In the tweet, Frankel posted her picture and captioned it with, “This is my ‘it’s Monday’ face, which looks very similar to my ‘I’m exhausted and it’s only Monday’ face.”

The daytime host has a lot to be tired about, as she keeps a pretty busy schedule these days. She’s about to embark on the hundredth episode of her talk show Bethenny which includes famous faces like Hoda Kotb, Tamar Braxton and Loni Love, Kathy Wakile, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

On the personal end of things, Bethenny suffered a painful divorce from her husband Jason Hoppy. Their relationship was documented as a happy and fruitful one on the Real Housewives series and her spin off show Bethenny Ever After. These days she’s rumored to be dating financer Michael Cerussi III who goes by Mac.

Frankel’s reality show also documented her “Skinny Girl” brand which is a line of low calorie drinks. Although it was once a successful business venture, Frankel’s sales have plummeted considerably. Her Skinnygirl Cocktails plunged by 26 percent over the last year, and is said to be the worst performer.

Perhaps Bethenny’s decision to go make up free will touch base with former followers and will help grow her empire.
