Bob Marley’s Influences Comes to Musical

Bob Marley’s influence is so strong it still finds a way to affect future generations. Bob Marley’s musical for children has finally been made! This musical is for ages 5 and up, and its called: “Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds”. The musical is based on a story written by Marley’s daughter Cedella Marley and Gerald Hausman.

The Story is about a boy named Ziggy of course, and he would rather stay at home and watch television then to go out and explore the beautiful island of Jamaica and see what adventures it has to offer. However, he does of course go out and explore the island thanks to a friend of his. Unfortunately Ziggy runs into an evil bird that wants to steal his dreadlocks. So far by how the narrative of the story is described it has similar characteristics to Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer, and Go Diego Go! because the shows childish exploration adventures.

Of Course you can’t have a musical based on Bob Marley without any of Marley’s songs. Yes Marley’s songs are throughout the musical, and the two most notable songs are “One Love” and “So Much Trouble In The World“. Since its a musical the cast must sing obviously, and Ziggy the main character (played by Parker-Namadar) brings his talented voice and Jamaican accent to these reggae songs. The performers are fun and full of energy when they’re performing. If they want the kids to enjoy it, the performers must enjoy their own performances as well.

Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds musical is 55 minutes of thrill seeking fun. The musical is full of dancing, singing, and great storytelling for kids and adults to enjoy.Of course there will be plenty of comedic moments for the kids and adults to have a good laugh about. In addition to plenty of Marley’s original peaceful reggae tunes for people to enjoy.

Adventure Theater helped create this musical, and its directer is Nick Olcott. The theater that this musical is being held at is New Victory Theater. This musical is designed to show younger generation the culture of Jamaica, and spread Marley’s influence and message to the future generations. This musical is everything a parent can want for their children, its educational while being fun and thrilling for the children
