Demi Lovato Is Already Hard At Work On Her New Album

Demi Lovato is currently one of the hardest working women in show business.

Not only did the singer kick off her Neon Lights tour in Vancouver this week, she’s also started work on a follow-up to her album Demi. In fact, Lovato is much farther along in the project than most people realized.

During a recent interview with MTV News, Demi Lovato revealed that work on her new record has already begun. However, the former X Factor judge stopped short of revealing when fans can get their hands on the new music.

“I’ve already started recording for my new album, and I have plans to record during the tour. The sound, it just evolves into everything that I’ve been [through] and everything that I want to become,” Lovato explained.

The singer continued, “I’ve never been so sure of myself as an artist when it comes down to confidence, not only personal things but exactly what i want my sound to be and what I’m capable of.”

Lovato’s Neon Lights tour will take her to cities in North and South America during the first part of 2014. Although you may have to drive a short distance to check her out, apparently the show is well worth your precious time and money.

According to Lovato, she’s incredibly proud of the tour she’s put together. However, this didn’t stop the singer from getting incredibly nervous during opening night.

During her set in Vancouver on Sunday night (February 9), Demi Lovato performed alongside her ex-boyfriend’s brother Nick Jonas. Lovato reportedly hired the singer to help piece together her Neon Lights tour.

“I love my relationship with Demi and our friendship. The fact that she asked me to come in and sort of help take her visions and her dreams and turn them into a reality onstage was an honor and the show looks amazing and I think this is going to be the best show she has put on for her fans,” Jonas explained to MTV News.
