Lady Gaga Talks Performing In Outer Space And Her Sacred Outfits

Recently Lady Gaga sat down for an interview with Harper’s Bazaar and in typical fashion the singer was very candid about her tough year in 2013. That said, there’s still some things Gaga has to celebrate, besides it being a new year. Gaga reminded us all that she’s still performing in outer space. It was announced in November that she would be boarding the Virgin Galactic shuttle for a performance in 2015.

As far as we know, she’s going to be the first artist to do so, and if there’s anything that Gaga revels in it’s that she likes to think outside the box when it comes to her music. Of her upcoming trip to outer space, Lady Gaga told the magazine, “Performing in space is such an honor. I want to challenge myself to come up with something that will not only bring everyone together but will also have a message of love that blasts into the beyond.”

Another possible exciting music venture Lady Gaga has to look forward to is a duet with Britney Spears, who practically pioneered 90s pop for performers in Lady Gaga’s age bracket. Recently Gaga collaborated with recording artist Christina Aguilera, so cooking something up with Britney Spears was inevitable. According to an insider close to the collaboration, it will happen soon.

This seems like it’s just the beginning for Lady Gaga’s kinship with pop star Britney Spears. During Spears’ February 1 performance in Las Vegas, Gaga was in attendance in the VIP section. This is said to be when the two discussed a possible collaboration. According to Us Weekly, Lady Gaga got Spears’ attention by going into the pit and tossing roses when the pop star sang “Til the World Ends.” During the performance Britney Spears interacted with Gaga by blowing her a kiss.

Unable to contain her excitement, Lady Gaga took to Twitter to tell all of her fans about the experience. Gaga decided to tweet a photo of the two in Britney’s dressing room with a caption that read:

“Me and Brit Brit. She looked so gorgeous, the show was so much fun, and her dad gave us THE BEST BBQ. It was a #MonsterParty!”

A few other tidbits were revealed from Gaga’s interview with the Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Since she started topping the pop charts, Gaga was known for her crazy outfits that became more a part of her performance art than anything else. Gaga revealed that she keeps all of her clothes, mentioning her famous meat dress, and flying dress.

“The fashion I’ve acquired over the years is so scared to me — from costumes to couture, high fashion to punk wear I’ve collected from my secret international hot spots. I keep everything in an enormous archive in Hollywood.”

Hopefully one day she will let the world in on her archive.
