Michelle Rodriguez And Cara Delebvingne As ‘Thelma And Louise’, Lesbian Version?

Michellle Rodriguez wants to star in a remake of the cult classic “Thelma and Louise” with her close – very close – friend Cara Delebvingne.

Michelle has already been intimately involved with the development of the new film project, and she’s very keen that her new friend Cara will star with her.

The Sun Newspaper reported that “Michelle is heavily in demand after her success in The Fast And The Furious. A few names have been mentioned as her co-star, include Kristen Stewart, Annalynne McCord and Leighton Meester, but Michelle is pushing for Cara,”

Cara, best known as a catwalk model, has already expressed interest in making the move to the big screen. Hollywood moguls are seriously considering this pairing, understanding that there is a lot of PR mileage to be got from the nature of the couple’s relationship off screen.

But is Michelle Rodriguez really a lesbian? after all, in early 2000, she broke off a near engagement to a Muslim boyfriend, citing opposition to religious requests he made of her. She has since dated her Fast and the Furious co-star Vin Diesel and S.W.A.T. co-star Olivier Martinez.

In July 2006, Rodriguez told Cosmopolitan magazine that she was not a lesbian, but had “experimented with both sexes.”

In November 2006, Kristanna Loken, who was co-starring with Michelle in Bloodrayne and was openly bi-sexual, made assertions to The Advocate that were widely understood and reported by the media as an admission that the two were in a relationship.Michelle never confirmed or denied the claim.

In June 2007, the lesbian magazine Curve claimed Rodriguez to be bisexual, but Michelle said that the magazine “put words in her mouth”.

Last year, Rodriguez told Entertainment Weekly she has had relationships with both men and women, saying, “I’ve gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too f**king curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks.”

Outside of the controversy surrounding her sexual orientation, Michele Rodriguez has had more than a few brushes with the law.

In March 2002, Rodriguez was arrested for assault after getting into a fight with her roommate. The charges were subsequently dropped.

In November 2003, Rodriguez went to court to answer eight misdemeanor charges for two driving incidents – including a hit and run and a DUI.

In June 2004, Rodriguez pleaded no contest in Los Angeles to three of the charges: hit and run, drunken driving, and driving with a suspended license. She went to jail for 48 hours, performed community service at the morgues of two New York hospitals, completed a three-month alcohol program, and was placed on probation for three years.

In 2005, while filming Lost in Hawaii, Rodriguez was pulled over by Honolulu police multiple times for speeding, and received a number of fines.

In December 2005, Rodriguez was arrested for driving under the influence. Rodriguez pleaded guilty to one charge. She elected to pay a $500 fine and spend five days in jail rather than 240 hours of community service.

Because this incident was a violation of her Los Angeles probation, Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in jail, a 30-day alcohol rehabilitation program and another 30 days of community service, including work for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

In September 2007, Rodriguez allegedly violated her probation by not completing her community service and not following an alcohol education program. She was sentenced to 180 days jail time after agreeing to admit to violating her probation.

Michelle Rodriguez certainly has a colorful background, but, as far as a re-make of Thelma and Louise is concerned, there are really only two questions to be answered:

Will the re-make have lesbian overtones – and will she drive the car of the cliff?
