Did Amazon Ad Just Confirm HP TouchPad Release Date?

An Amazon Ad which appeared online Wednesday for the HP TouchPad may have just revealed the official release date for the first WebOS powered tablet to reach the market.

An earlier leak by OfficeMax showed a release date of July 17, while a report earlier this morning stated June 22. Apparently Amazon agreed with the the first release date, placing an ad on their site with the June 17 date.

According to the ad:

“HP will release the sleek and sophisticated webOS-empowered TouchPad on July 17, 2011.”

Now we just have to pick and choose which date we’ll be waiting on.
