Rita Ora ‘Homeless’ After Getting Booted From Her London Flat

Rita Ora doesn’t have a place to hang her hat these days.

The singer was recently booted from her London flat after receiving one too many complaints from her neighbors. Although she surely has a few dollars stashed away for a rainy day, Ora said she’s essentially homeless for the moment.

During her recent interview with BBC One, Rita Ora explained that she’s living like a vagabond until she finds another place to call her own.

“Do you want to know something funny? I’m actually homeless right now,” she dramatically explained during her recent chat.

The singer continued, “I had to leave my flat because the neighbors didn’t like me that much. I’d been recording my album there, which is not a really good idea. Long story short, I now live in my sister’s flat.”

However, you probably shouldn’t feel too sorry for Rita Ora at the moment. She’s currently filming the cinematic version of author E.L. James’ popular erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey in Canada. Chances are she has somewhere nice to lay her head.

The Inquisitr reported last month that Ora was possibly moving in with boyfriend DJ Calvin Harris after getting evicted from her London flat. Since the information came from one of those celebrity insiders, it was difficult to tell if she was actually shacking up with the guy.

“Over Christmas, Calvin asked Rita to move into his Los Angeles home full-time so their work commitments don’t lead to a break-up. He believes they can make their relationship last if they both fully commit to it,” the anonymous source explained.

The insider continued, “Rita took her time making the decision. It’s a big step after all. But she does spend a lot of time in Los Angeles anyway and has friends there,” the source explained. “So in the end she knew it was the right thing to do. Calvin was delighted when Rita told him the answer was yes.”

As for that Fifty Shades of Grey adaptation, Rita Ora says that fans are in for the “biggest and most amazing shock ever” when the flick finally hits theaters. Judging from her comments, she had an incredible time shooting the movie.

“Oh, I was nervous because it was the first time I ever did a movie with words. But it was so nice. The director, she was incredible, so it was all love,” Ora said.
