Tara Lipinski And The Big Lebowski, An Unbeatable Combination [Watch]

Tara Lipinski, who won a gold medal for figure skating at the 1998 Olympics, came out of retirement to perform a special solo routine at Rockefeller Center earlier this week.

Tara did this to honor Jimmy Fallon, who is working his final week on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon before departing to host the iconic Tonight Show on Feb. 17. Many think that Jay Leno, who has hosted the show for 22 seasons since 1992, is going to be a hard act to follow, as the saying goes.

On the other hand, others feel that Fallon has a fresh and hilarious approach and has appeal for younger audiences.
Lipinski, who won her medal when she was just 15 years old, showed she still has some serious moves on the ice. She agreed to feature in a sketch for the show based on the cult film “The Big Lebowski.”

Dressed in a bathrobe, she held in her hand a White Russian drink, the staple of the film’s main character, usually known as “The Dude.”

The music from the film, is Kenny Rogers“Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In).”

Generally, Tara managed to hold the drink steady for most of her performance. She only spills a bit towards the end while twirling in a spin.

“First time skating with a white russian and I kinda like it,” Lipinski tweeted later.
