Beyoncé Knowles Is Incredibly Happy With The Results Of Her Vegan Diet

Beyoncé Knowles is incredibly happy with the results of her vegan diet. However, the drastic change in lifestyle didn’t come without its fair share of problems.

If you don’t keep up with the adventures of Beyoncé and Jay Z, then you probably missed out on the couple’s decision to go vegan in December of last year. The decision to go completely vegan was originally announced to the entire world on the rapper’s website.

“Why now? There’s something spiritual to me about it being my 44th birthday and the serendipity behind the number of days in this challenge; 22 (2+2=4) coupled with the fact that the challenge ends on Christmas day… It just feels right!” Jay Z explained.

The rapper continued, “So you can call it a spiritual and physical cleanse. I will post my progress… Any professional vegans out there that have any great food spots please help out! Please ha. I don’t know what happens after Christmas. A semi-vegan, a full plant-based diet? Or just a spiritual and physical challenge? We’ll see.”

Beyoncé Knowles showed off the incredible results of the vegan diet during her recent performance at the 2014 Grammy Awards. Rumor has it that the singer lost around five pounds during last year’s experiment. According to E! Online, this prompted Beyoncé to recently embark on another 22-day excursion into vegan territory.

According to Look, sticking to a vegan diet is a lot harder than some may think. However, Beyoncé Knowles is apparently very happy with the results this diet produces.

The insider dished:

“Beyoncé still believes that women are beautiful at any size, but she felt that her own body was reacting well to being vegetarian, and she wanted to press further and try the vegan diet. The diet was incredibly hard on her, but along with the muscle tone created from a tough workout she devised with her trainer Marco Borges, she couldn’t believe how great she felt without having any extra weight. She takes being a role model incredibly seriously, but she doesn’t want to be pigeon-holed. She believes her main strength is that she shares with her fans and she herself grows and learns. She feels it keeps her genuine, and that her fans can sense that.”

Although Beyoncé Knowles is apparently ready and willing to give the vegan diet another go-around, it’s unclear if Jay Z will join her on the second 22-day adventure into the lifestyle.
