Bow Wow Embarrassed By Car Company Following Instagram Brag

It’s been a weird two weeks for the child rapper turned BET host Bow Wow. The host of 106 & Park took to Instagram for a brag worthy post to show off his ride on Grammy night. Posing for a picture while driving a Ferrari California, Bow Wow made sure he looked like he was riding in style for the big night. Now it looks like he’s been embarrassed by the car rental service that loaned him the car.

In his original post Bow Wow posted a photo driving in the whipsn with the caption that reads:

“Take the drop to the night spot. Keep the California in California. We went hard tonight. Grammy weekend,” the 106 and Park host captioned an image on Instagram.”

Although Bow Wow didn’t necessarily come out and say that the car was his own, it sure looked like he wanted his fans to think it was his. There’s a huge swagger game of bragging about living a wild and rich life, and since Bow Wow hasn’t been the top dog in his original choice career as a rapper, we can see how he would want to portray that image, especially on a huge night in the industry.

That said, the Los Angeles rental company wasn’t letting Bow Wow have his moment of glory in their car without saying something. The reality of the situation was cleared up after Platinum Transportation took to Instagram to post another photo of Bow Wow in the car.

The Instagram post by the rental company reads:

“Our good friend Bow Wow pulling up to the Grammys with ‘our’ Ferrari California.”

In addition to Bow Wow being put on blast, he also had to defend his day job after an erroneous report was released that he had been fired from his gig at BET. Currently Bow Wow is the host on BET’s 106 & Park, and it was said that Bow Wow was being let go from his contract because he used his BET credit card to pay $30,000 in child support.

Although the report was deemed as a fake, Bow Wow came forward to defend his position at BET.

Bow Wow addressed the rumors with a playful tweet on Wednesday, January 22:

“@HipHopture: @YMCMB_BW clear it for fans bro!! Clear what? That ill see yall at 6pm tomorrow live on TV like i do err day whats changed?”

Bow Wow made a second post as he showed off a photo of himself at work and captioned it with: “At @106andpark early doing my @EBONYMag photo shoot.”

Perhaps Bow Wow will show off other car rentals on his Instagram.
