Christie Brinkley Celebrates 60th Birthday With Sexy Magazine Cover
Hard to believe the all-American girl, Christie Brinkley is turning 60-years-old this weekend and what better way to celebrate the special date than by going back to what she has done all her adult life, pose for a magazine cover and looking sexy.
The ageless supermodel — who was one of the most successful ones in the world — truly looks amazing, with a body that many 60-year-old women can only see in the cover of magazines.
Not many women — famous or not — can confidently put on a bathing suit, even a one piece bathing suit, and strike a pose for one of the most popular magazines, PEOPLE.

Christie Brinkley says, “I’m actually excited about turning 60. I feel on top of my game.”
However, the former cat-walk star wasn’t bold enough to wear a two piece suit — not that she wouldn’t look amazing in it — but there was another very important reason why Christie Brinkley went for the more conservative bathing suit.
“My kids would be so embarrassed!. In private I may wear a bikini, but at the public beach with my kids I would change bathing suits because they do not want to be hanging out with some old broad in a bikini.”
Goes to show us that even a world renowned former supermodel understands her limitations and is sensitive enough to follow her children’s wishes.
Chirstie Brinkley says her three kids — Alexa Ray Joel, 28, Jack Brinkley-Cook, 18, and up-and-coming model Sailor Brinkley-Cook, 15 — are her inspiration for staying young and her motivation to focus on a healthy lifestyle.
The former model gained worldwide attention in the late ’70s, after appearing in three consecutive Sports Illustrated covers from 1979 to 1981.
