‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Will Be ‘Most Amazing Shock Ever’, Says Rita Ora

Rita Ora — who plays Mia Grey — was talking Fifty Shades Of Grey at the 2014 Grammy Awards red carpet on Sunday evening.

While speaking with E! News’ Giuliana Rancic, Ora she made sure to set the record straight about the steamy flick coming out next year.

The pop star will star in her first feature film, when the much anticipated adaptation of the E.L. James novel comes out just in time to make women swoon for Valentine’s Day.

About a week ago, the Fifty Shades Of Grey star posted a “selfie” on her Instagram account and looked so glamorous that fans instantly assumed she was in character, however, Ora denied such was the case.

Maybe she was practicing for her Grammy appearance:

Rita Ora did share of her casting in Fifty Shades Of Grey:

“Oh, I was nervous because it was the first time I ever did a movie with words,” Ora told reporters at the annual Roc Nation pre-Grammy brunch on Saturday. “But it was so nice. The director Sam (Taylor-Johnson), she was incredible, so it was all love.”

Ora also promised that when the highly anticipated adaptation of the novel of the same name finally hits theaters on February 13, 2015 it’s “gonna be the biggest and most amazing shock ever” and that she is “so excited” for it.

Over the weekend, the first poster for Fifty Shades Of Grey came out, giving eager fans a taste of what they can expect from the film.

The story centers on the steamy relationship between billionaire magnate Christian Grey, played by Irish actor Jamie Dornan, and young innocent recent graduate Anastasia Steele, portrayed by Dakota Johnson.

Pproducer Michael DeLuca says the pair has “great chemistry” and things are moving along just fine with the production — which had a rocky start when it lost the original main protagonist — with pictures being posted on Twitter showing Dornan and Johnson on set in Vancouver, where the film is being shot.

Ora’s comments comes amid rumors that there is tension on set between director Taylor-Johnson and James — who is also a producer for the film based on her book.

The reports suggests that James doesn’t agree with the way the story is being treated by Taylor-Johnson. DeLuca said that the explicit sex scenes described in the novel, Fifty Shades Of Grey have been significantly toned down for viewing and James has had a difficult time embracing the changes.
