Kenya Moore Slams ‘RHOA’ Co-Star Phaedra Parks After Her Husband Was Charged For Fraud

Its no secret that Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore doesn’t hold her co-star Phaedra Parks to high regards. Although Moore and Parks got off to a good start, almost immediately becoming friends, their camaraderie was short-lived.

Soon after the Trois actress met the high-powered attorney’s husband Apollo Nida, and they attempted to mix friendship with business, things went awry.

However, that wasn’t the only pitfall in their friendship. Moore had actually begun to have a better relationship with Parks’ husband, which led to a great deal of speculation as it seemed they had become much more than friends.

The constant battle between Moore and Parks ultimately killed their short-lived friendship. But, the demise of it never stops them from taking proverbial jabs at each other.

So, when Nida was arrested and charged with bank fraud and identity theft, Moore had no qualms about going in for the verbal kill, and she didn’t waste any time, reports Daily Mail.

On Sat. Jan. 25, the 43-year-old Detroit native took to Twitter sharing her sentiments and crass humor about Nida’s federal debacle. Her first message, although indirect, was directed toward the fallout she and Parks had last season when she expressed her disdain toward the couple after their business fallout over the production of Parks’ workout video.

However, the second tweet was a bit more blatant. The hashtag #AngelaStanton was a dead giveaway that she was clearly bashing the couple.

For those who have never heard of Angela Stanton, she is the woman who released the tell-all book Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell the Truth and Shame the Devil.

Although the book is an account of Stanton’s life, it takes an interesting turn when she delves into the details about her life of crime. She reveals that she was apart of a fraudulent scheme of racketeering and automotive title fraud with Apollo Nida in which she and Nida both served time in prison.

However, she also alleges that Parks was actually the brain behind the lucrative scheme. Stanton also stated that Parks and Nida weren’t intimately involved until after he was released from prison in 2009 after serving 5 years. She also speculates that Parks only married Nida to avoid any possibilities of future incrimination under the spousal testimonial privilege law in the state of Georgia.

So, the recent charges that have been brought up against Nida come as no surprise given his fraudulent past. His criminal history and the allegations against Parks only fueled the fire for Moore’s insults.

On Friday, Jan. 24, Nida surrendered to US Marshalls after being charged with embezzlement, bank fraud, check fraud, conspiracy and identity theft. He is currently out on a $25,000 bond with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb.12.
