Jim Parsons Buys Pattinson, Stewart Mansion: Is It Worth $6.375 Million?

Jim Parsons, the much loved Big Bang Theory star, just bought himself a nice big house from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, according to real estate Trulia.

Just three months after listing the mansion, Robert Pattinson, who co-owned the home with ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart, sold it for $6.375 million to Parsons earlier this week.

Pattinson may have asked for $6.75 when he listed it, but he won’t be to upset with the price he received for the property. Not that it has anything to do with the price but basketball legend Kareem-Abdul Jabbar owned the mansion before Pattinson.

The property is set in the hills overlooking L.A. and is built on a terraced 1.5 acre lot with a design of the 1922 Spanish Colonial-style period. It has just three bedroom, three bathrooms, a study and a lagoon-style swimming pool.

It is also pretty big at 4,026 square feet, and offers some of the most stunning views L.A has to offer. Pattinson, who purchased the property back in 2011 for $6.275 million, lived there with Stewart until he found her cheating with Rupert Sanders.

Even though he paid a pretty penny for it, Jim Parsons seems to have gotten himself a pretty good deal over in the hills of L.A. He is said to be selling his current home for for $1.85 million.

Do you think Jim Parsons paid a fair price for the mansion he bought from Pattinson? You would have thought than even in the current troubled property market, Pattinson would have made a better profit on his sale of the mansion.

Either way you cut it, there is no doubt that the Big Bang Theory star will be very happy in his new mansion. After all a few hundred thousand dollars doesn’t mean to much when you are paying over $6 million dollars for a three bedroom property.
