Johnny Depp Engaged To Girlfriend Amber Heard

Johnny Depp is engaged to girlfriend Amber Heard, and the two couldn’t be happier.

Heard was seen out with the Pirates Of The Caribbean star Monday trying to hide a ring on her finger, however the paparazzi caught the image and the rumors started.

There is no need to hide the happy news; People magazine has confirmed that the couple is indeed engaged.

“Of course they couldn’t be happier to be engaged and excited to share the rest of their lives together,” a source tells People.

The source adds that Amber has told her closest friends the big news.

“Amber has really taken well to the kids and really enjoys spending time with them. And she’s even taken Lily shopping on her own for some bonding time.”

Johnny Depp has two children with French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis.

The couple met on the set of the 2011 movie The Rum Diary and went public with their relationship the following year after 50-year-old Depp announced he and Paradis, his partner of 14 years, had split.

Rumors have suggested Depp and Paradis were attempted to reconcile, but obviously that is not the case.

Celebuzz reports that Johnny Depp proposed to Amber Heard on Christmas Eve, but she didn’t answer him right away.

“Amber really took her time to make up her mind,” a source shared.

The source adds this wasn’t the first time Johnny Depp had asked: “She turned him down before,” the source added, “before she said yes. So she waited and was thinking about it for a long time.”

Amber Heard, 27, has said she is bisexual and was previously in a four-year relationship with Hawaiian artist and photographer Tasya van Ree.

Johnny Depp has had a series of high-profile relationships starting with his marriage to Lori Anne Allison from 1983 to 1985.

He was later engaged to actresses Jennifer Grey and Sherilyn Fenn before proposing to his co-star Winona Ryder. In 1998, following a four-year relationship with British supermodel Kate Moss, Depp began a relationship with Vanessa Paradis, whom he met while filming The Ninth Gate.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard will heat up the big screen when they star together in London Fields.
