Chewbacca Star Wars Actor Tweets Behind The Scenes Photos, Other Goodies

The Chewbacca Star Wars actor just recently gave fans a glimpse back to a galaxy far, far away… through Twitter.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, a potential Boba Fett movie has fans excited for more spinoffs based upon Star Wars 7, including even a Han Solo movie.

Actor Peter Mayhew was Chewbacca in the original Star Wars trilogy. Well, apparently, he has quite a collection of behind-scenes-photos that have never been shared before in quite this fashion. Over a period of several days he’s been posting pictures of creator George Lucas and co-stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fischer. Notables like Darth Vader, Yoda, C-3PO, and Obi Wan Kenobi of course get mentioned, and there’s many shots of props like the Millennium Falcon.

Using his Twitter handle, TheWookieeRoars, Mayhew has been posting not only photos but also his own comments. Sometimes just the comments alone are worth the viewing. For example, a photo of Carrie Fisher aka Princess Leia shows hers sitting with 11 year-old Warwick Davis, who was the primary Ewok named Wicket:

Oh, and just in case you missed it… Princess Leia and Captain Kirk recently had a showdown and Carrie Fisher choked out William Shatner. So, yes, Star Wars is now officially better than Star Trek.

What do you think about the photo collection posted by Chewbacca Star Wars actor Peter Mayhew?
