Ke$ha’s Mother Checks Into Rehab With Daughter

Ke$ha’s mother Pebe Sebert is checking into the same Chicago-are rehab center as her daughter.

The “Die Young” singer checked herself into rehab last week, and said that she will spend the next 30 days learning to love herself again. She also said that she is a “crusader for being yourself and loving yourself,” but that she has found it hard to practice what she preaches.

Sebert told People that she is entering the facility at her daughter’s request.

“I’m checking myself into Timberline Knolls today for post-traumatic stress disorder, at Ke$ha’s urging,” the 57-year-old said.

Pebe Sebert has accused Ke$ha’s advisors, including producer Dr. Luke, of causing her daughter’s eating disorder.

“Dr. Luke had been telling her how she had to get in shape and lose weight and all this stuff,” she said. “She was exercising and dieting and ultimately doing everything she could, but not getting thin fast enough. And that’s when she first became bulimic.”

She also said that Dr. Luke said Ke$ha looked like a “refrigerator” in her latest video and asked if she could try to control her weight.

“After she went on a 14-day juice cleanse, he said, ‘Thank God you finally got rid of the weight! We’ve all been talking about it,'” she said. “So she felt like she couldn’t trust anyone.” Sebert also said that Ke$ha had a breakdown right before Christmas because she couldn’t take the pressure anymore.

Dr. Luke has denied Pebe Sebert’s claims that he bullied Ke$ha into losing weight.

“These statements and allegations concerning Dr. Luke are completely false,” he said through a statement from his spokesperson. “It is unfortunate that at a time Ke$ha is suffering immensely and trying to heal at a treatment center, her mother is taking this approach with the media. I give Ke$ha my utmost support and well wishes for a quick return to health.”
