Kristen Stewart Nude In Topless Ads, Movies… Why So Naked?


With Kristen Stewart nude once again in a perfume ad, especially after recently filming nude scenes in multiple movies, this news seems to be begging the question… why so naked, Kristen?

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Stewart is perpetually making headlines for her off again, on again romance with Robert Pattinson.

Regardless of (or perhaps because of) her romantic life, Kristen is apparently in a place in her life where she’s comfortable in her skin, and not afraid to show it. The star played the impulsive Marylou in indie flick On The Road in 2012, which featured multiple nude scenes and topless shots of the star. Kristen brushed off the nudity in the film as “no big deal” and said of the experience:

“I need to be so rocked by something, so moved by something that the idea of letting it down or ruining it is painful, and that’s what gets you through the shoot. If you start considering what people are going to think, you’ll never make a movie. This book celebrates being alive and it celebrates being human, and if you want to cover up and deny any aspect of that, you are denying the spirit of the book.”

Kristen Stewart will also be featured skinny dipping in another movie called Sils Maria.

Well, apparently, she was still in need of being “rocked”, as seen in her recent ad campaign for Balenciaga’s Rosabotanica. And she was all smiles doing it. Kristen Stewart said of her experience playing the topless character in the video and print shoot:

“In the first one, it was very fresh. It was really clean and very bare in your face. In this, it’s a little more lived in. It’s like she knows the environment so well that when the lens steps in to take a look at her, it’s like, ‘I’ve been here in my world for so long, now who’s looking at me?'”

Alternatively, she seems to also occasionally like not taking her clothes off on camera. There were also shots of the star clothed in a low cut black dress. And she seemed equally enthusiastic about that as well:

“What I like about this is that I didn’t have to turn into a different person, the point was to capture something natural. If you ever feel like you’re forcing something or trying to get the shot, suddenly it’s just not fun anymore.”

Kristen appears to like being the “fresh face” in fashion campaigns and has just struck a deal with Chanel for the 2013-2014 Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas collection.
