Lindsay Lohan Surrenders For House Arrest

Lindsay Lohan is in jail…actually she’s at her Venice apartment where she will remain for the next 120 days under home arrest. Lohan surrendered herself this morning at Lynwood Jail where she was fitted with an ankle monitoring device, a requirement for her sentencing.

According to LA Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore:

“She is now confined to the interior premises of her home at all times.”

The home arrest is part of her sentence for stealing a $2,500 necklace which violated her DUI probation a charge Lohan pleaded guilty to in order to end her court case which may have conflicted with her role on Gotti: Three Generations should she have let it drag on.

According to PEOPLE Lohan could spend as little as two weeks on house arrest for good behavior, however she will still be required to complete 480 hours of community service between an LA women’s shelter and the county morgue.

How can you possibly not be on your best behavior when your stuck in your own home?
