Young Jeezy Arrested For Battery, Swears He Didn’t Attack His Son
Young Jeezy was reportedly arrested late last week on charges of false imprisonment, battery, and making terroristic threats. However, the rapper claims the whole story was completely made up by son’s mother.
According to authorities, Young Jeezy (aka Jay Jenkins) turned himself over to police on Friday after a grand jury warrant was reportedly issued for his arrest. At the time, it was unclear what the allegations entailed or who filed the complaint with police.
While Young Jeezy hasn’t issued an official statement on the matter, sources recently told TMZ that the rapper swears he didn’t attack his 17-year-old son or make any violent threats against him. In fact, the rapper believes the whole story was allegedly put together by Tenesha Dykes, the boy’s mom.
The altercation between Jeezy and his son Jadarius allegedly took place in September of 2012. Although the two screamed at one another during the extremely heated argument, the rapper insists that he didn’t choke the teenager or prevent him from leaving the house. However, he did admit to pushing Jadarius to the ground during the confrontation.
Jeezy also stands accused of shoving the boy into a shower door and pulling him into a bedroom. The incident report adds that the rapper continued to assault his son in the other room.
Young Jeezy is also accused of telling his son that he would kill him by putting a bullet in his head. However, the rapper denies saying that he would shoot the teenager. Jeezy insists that the boy’s mother is trying to get as much money as humanly possible out of the guy.
“We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy,” the rapper’s lawyer said in a brief statement.
Although Young Jeezy turned himself over to police, he was later released on $45,000 bail.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the rapper has gotten into a physical altercation with someone. The Inquisitr previously reported that Young Jeezy got into a fight with fellow rapper Rick Ross at the BET Awards in 2012.
Jeezy was also arrested back in 2006 after getting into an alleged shootout in South Beach, Florida. Two years later, the rapper was reportedly accused of getting involved with a cocaine operation. To make matters worse, he faced DUI charges that year as well.
