Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez Reunion ‘Spearheaded’ By Demi Lovato?
Demi Lovato reportedly “spearheaded” Selena Gomez’s apparent reunion with Justin Bieber, encouraging the “Come and Get It” starlet to spend more time with her ex-boyfriend and family.
If that claim is true, it seems Selena has taken that advice to heart.
Multiple witnesses saw the Latina and the Canadian riding Segways, later hanging out at the Seascape Beach Resort in Aptos, Calif., this past weekend through to Monday.
On January 2, the pair were snapped in Bieber’s Calabasas, CA neighborhood riding – you guessed it – Segways.
Two days later Selena popped up in an intimate Instagram posted by the “Confident” singer.
The 19-year-old’s caption read:
“Love the way you look at me.”
It has fueled speculation that Bieber and Gomez, who dated for two years before splitting up in November 2012 and maintained an on-off status ever since, have reunited.
Lovato, 21, worked with Gomez, also 21, as guest actors on PBS’ Barney & Friends back in 2002. The “Heart Attack” songstress was recently seen with Selena at a Mexican restaurant in L.A., and is herself taking a month off from her busy schedule.
A source purportedly told Hollywoodlife:
“There is zero time table to return to concerts or movies. She is enjoying her time away from work and spending it with her family and Justin. This was spearheaded not only over her [alleged] lupus situation but the more she has been talking to Demi Lovato who is on her own break really made Selena take a look at her life and realize what is important and that is to enjoy some normality while she is young.”
Selena recently canceled the Australia and Asia legs of her Stars Dance Tour. Reports that she has Lupus are unconfirmed.
“It has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be,” Gomez said in a December statement explaining the cancelation.

Two sisters from Santa Cruz told KSBW, a local news outlet that they saw Justin and Selena walking in Aptos at around 10 pm on Monday night. Gomez was reportedly wearing a blonde wig at the time.
“They both had huge sunglasses on, it was obvious they were trying to hide who they were,” Melissa Clark, 15, recalled.
The siblings added that when Justin and Selena realized they’d been busted, they ran back into the Seascape Beach Resort laughing, causing Gomez’s wig to fall off. The sweethearts reportedly spent the remainder of the night in their hotel room and on their balcony.
On Tuesday Justin tweeted a playful question, asking, “road trip, where am i,” no doubt well aware the ‘with whom’ part is already out of the bag.
