Did you hear that one of Chris Brown’s letters to Rihanna was supposedly burned by the “Diamonds” singer? Were you surprised that he ended up calling her “crazy”? Not surprisingly, none of this is probably true.
Like a lot of celebrities these days, the recording artists often find themselves at the center of situations that seemingly never took place. The legend of Rihanna’s letter burning is reportedly nothing more than a fabrication perpetrated by the folks over at Hollywood Life.
According to an anonymous source, Chris Brown sent Rihanna a letter from rehab on New Year’s Eve that served as an apology for all the terrible things he’s done over the past few years. In response to the communication, Rihanna reportedly set the whole thing on fire while hanging out with some friends.
“As they smoked, Rihanna pulled out this fake ass letter. She put it in the middle of the bed on top of a big candle-holder, and put her burnt ashes on it. They all started to put ashes on that letter until it burned. Rihanna said, ‘good riddance’, and continued to entertain her guests,” the insider explained.
The anonymous source added, “She put Chris to bed last year for good. She wants to have a happy, stress-free year. And she’s done with bulls*** from the men in her life. She’s over games.”
Although this Chris Brown-Rihanna story was eventually shot down by a representative, another story about Brown’s response to the letter burning popped up over at Hollywood Life. This so-called report from an industry insider is also reportedly a fabrication.
“He’s paying her no mind and he thinks she’s crazy. He’s not sitting around, going through sh** she gave him and ripping sh** up. All the things he gave her were because he cared about her and loved her. He did that from his heart,” the anonymous source explained.
Until Rihanna posts a photo of the flaming letter or Chris Brown admits he sent such a thing to his ex-girlfriend, it’s best to approach these stories and rumors with extreme suspicion. It’s easy to make up tales about celebrity woe in this day and age, especially on the internet.
