Demi Lovato and Fifth Harmony could possibly work together at some point down the road.
If you’re not into the world of pop music, then the name Fifth Harmony probably doesn’t mean a lot to you. The girl group formed during the second season of The X Factor and recently performed at the Y100 Jingle Ball in Miami earlier this month.
Since Demi Lovato recently teamed up with The X Factor alum Cher Lloyd for the Demi track “Really Don’t Care,” the folks at MTV News asked if the singer and Fifth Harmony could possibly join forces at some point in the very near future.
“Of course! There’s plans to collaborate with them. I adore them so much. They’re such sweet girls and I really think they’re going to go far in this industry. I’m glad I could that I could be a part of it by helping put them together and taking them on the road. It’s really exciting,” Lovato explained.
However, Demi stopped short of revealing when she and the Fifth Harmony girls will get in the studio together. At least fans can go to bed tonight knowing that a collaboration is presently in the works.
Not only is Demi Lovato planning to record a song or two with Fifth Harmony, she also tapped the group to join her on the road next year. The show will also reportedly include Cher Lloyd and Little Mix. The singer teased that fans should expect all sort of cool stuff during the Neon Lights tour.
“You can expect a show that I’ve never put on before. I’m really excited. Other shows I’ve had all about the music but this time I want it to be about girl empowerment. I want it to be a huge party that everyone has fun at and leaves with an incredible experience,” she said.
Demi Lovato recently confirmed her departure from The X Factor, a decision that apparently didn’t catch Simon Cowell by surprise at all. However, the singer explained that she definitely wasn’t using her time away from the show to lounge around at home on the couch.
“I wouldn’t call it I’m taking the year off… I’m getting ready to go on a bunch of tours that I’m planning and that I’ve announced. I’m going to start the Neon Lights tour, which is going to be an awesome show that I’ve never done before,” she said.
