Another Glee Original Song: ‘Pretending’

The season finale of the Fox TV hit Glee is quickly approaching it’s May 24 broadcast date and just in time for that episode is yet another original song, this time titled “Pretending.”

The song is led by show vocalists Lea Michele and Cory Monteith and is a ballad heartbeat inspired back beat with a mature sound for the often immature kids of William Kinley High.

The song, created by Savan Kotecha is meant to “pretend” like the former couple are trying to make up but have too much baggage in their past to keep that from actually happening, in the end the song is all just a daydream.
