Kevin Hart Hitchhikes While Promoting Ice Cube Film On ‘Conan’ [Video]

Kevin Hart is currently promoting his new film with Ice Cube called Ride Along. His latest appearance on Conan included his co-star and the host piling into a car to promote the film that sees Hart go along on rides with Ice Cube in his patrol car. Instead of getting inside a police vehicle, Conan, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart filmed a nine-minute segment inside of a car service vehicle for an impromptu chat.

The humorous bit starts with Conan using his “Lyft” app to call for a car. As the host waited on the corner of the street for a cab, Hart joked that the three of them standing there made it look like they were soliciting.

“I’m not saying that I’m scared because I’m not, but this ain’t safe! We’ve been waiting for some time right now, and it looks like we’re selling a–”

Finally the car showed up wearing a pink mustache on the front. After asking Anthony, the driver, if it was okay that they put small cameras in the car to film, the three piled in for a humorous segment that slowly turned into an interview that mirrored Taxi Cab Confessions.

Ice Cube quipped, “You know where the good weed spot is around here?” Although the men didn’t wind up on a very different street corner, they did end up buying munchies when they stopped at a 7/11. After Conan got Ice Cube and Kevin Hart’s lingo down, the host came back with a jar of nutella and a DVD of the failed RomCom Ghost of Girlfriends Past. Then Conan piled back into the car, for what else, but a beat boxing session.

For those who are not familiar with Kevin Hart’s new film the synopsis is listed as follows:

“Fast-talking security guard Ben joins his cop brother-in-law James on a 24-hour patrol of Atlanta in order to prove himself worthy of marrying Angela, James’ sister.”
