Justin Timberlake And Jimmy Fallon Team Up For ‘SNL’ [Video]

It wouldn’t be a season of Saturday Night Live if Justin Timberlake wasn’t involved in it somehow. Timberlake, a consummate performer, and probably one of the best hosts SNL has had grace its stage in the last decade, is returning to the stage for the December 21 holiday episode.

This time around Timberlake is joining former Saturday Night Live cast member and current host Jimmy Fallon, as Timberlake will be taking a backseat for a bit as a musical guest. That said, it would be surprising if Jimmy Fallon’s best bud didn’t pop up in a few sketches, especially given the nature of his friendship and viral sketch collaborations with Fallon. So if anything expect Timberlake to definitely get in on the giggles that Fallon brings to almost every sketch he takes part in on SNL. It’s safe to assume that they’ll bring back one of their recurring sketches.

Many expectations are high for Jimmy Fallon’s episode this coming Saturday possibly because Timberlake’s holiday hosting duties wound up giving everyone the gift of “D–k In A Box,” which somehow wound up winning an Emmy. Bringing back two former staples of Saturday Night Live may suggest that producer Lorne Michaels is calling out all the stops, and may even bring back former SNL hosts for the show. Although this is just speculation, it isn’t completely out of the blue, as Michaels brought back hosts that have graced the stage five times for Timberlake’s fifth time hosting Saturday Night Live.

In his last opening monologue Timberlake walked into a club with Paul Simon, Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase, Martin Short, Alec Baldwin, and Tom Hanks.

There’s no telling what’s in store when Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake take the stage on Saturday, but we’re banking that it’s going to be a pretty hilarious time.
