Lil Bub’s Yule Log Goes Live Spreading Holiday Cheer [Video]

Before the year is up the internet’s favorite cat, Lil Bub, is closing out 2013 the right way. Bub, the feline viral sensation, has released a Lil Bub’s Yule Log Video for fans to enjoy during the holiday season. Much like a regular yule log video, the signature crackling of the fire could be heard, but now it’s with the additional Lil Bub purrs and squeaks. We have to admit — the combinations of sounds is pretty hypnotic. If this hour long video doesn’t doesn’t delight you we don’t know what will.

Lil Bub’s owner, Mike Bridavsky, spoke to Mashable about how he was inspired to make the yule log video:

“Well, I mean, what better gift than having an amazing magical woman space cat and a warm fire to grace your family for the holidays?”

Lil Bub has made a name for herself, with her signature wide-eyed expression, and her tongue always hanging out of her mouth, she was probably the most unique cat we saw, next to Grumpy Cat, in 2013. Bub has become such an internet sensation that she even made headlines next to the likes of Robert De Niro, as he posed with the cat at the Tribeca Film Festival. Lil Bub and Bridavsky decided to make a documentary on her viral popularity called Lil Bub & Friendz, which also featured Grumpy Cat.

Lil Bub’s owner opened up about the cat’s popularity, having said:

“I feel selfish keeping her all to myself, so this is a way for everyone to enjoy Bub’s radiating joy during the coldest months of the year.”

The reason for Lil Bub’s Yule Log video? Mike Bridasky just wanted to spread some holiday cheer.

“I just think that looping this video on your TV during the holidays will only improve moods and will instantly quell any family bickering or tension so you can enjoy the holidays in joyful bliss. Bub gives the gift of Bub.”
