Good Morning America “Summer Concert Series” Announced


Summer is drawing closer which means it was only a matter of time before Good Morning America announced their Summer Concert Series and that time was today.

Amongst the shows acts will be Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson, while also appearing will be all Top 11 America Idol contestant, Taio Cruz, Florence and the Machine, the Goo Googe Dolls, Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert.

Also making appearances are old school acts The Go-Go’s, Debbie Gibson and mall circuit favorite Tiffany.

The series kicks off on May 27 with Lady Gaga launching the concert series, performing songs from her new Born This Way album.

The Gaga event will require tickets for the show which will be held for a third year in a row at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park.

According to show producers, “fans will want to arrive at the Summerstage Rumsey Playfield via the 72nd Street entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6 a.m., when the park opens to the public.”

All remaining concerts will not require tickets and will be open to the public with shows running from 7 to 9 a.m. ET while they air live on GMA.

Exact dates for each artist and additional acts will be announced throughout the coming and Summer months.
