Al Pacino Accepts Role in “Gotti: Three Generations”

The cast of Gotti: Three Generations continues to develop with Oscar winner Al Pacino joining the movies cast which already features John Travolta and Lindsay Lohan.

Pacino has agreed to play underboss Aniello “Neil” Dellacroce, the mentor to John Gotti Sr. (Travolta).

The news was broken by one of the movies producers Marc Fiore who stated:

“Al Pacino is one of the finest actors of all time and will bring an unsurpassed level of reality and excitement to the film.”

The move also reunites producer Barry Levinson with Pacino. The two worked together on last year’s TV movie You Don’t Know Jack for which Pacino won an Emmy and on the awesome 1997 mafia movie Donnie Brasco.

According to Levinson:

“There’s this whole thing about fathers and sons that plays through this piece,” while he added, “You had a huge character in John Gotti, who’s basically old school and believed in the structure of that whole system, and the son at a certain point in time basically begins to reject it and wants out of it. He says, ‘I can’t live my life this way,’ so I think that’s a real conflict.”

Also appearing in the movie are Joe Pesci, Kelly Preston (Travolta’s real-life wife) and Travolta’s daughter Ella Blu.
