Lady Gaga To Mentor This Week on ‘American Idol’

Lady Gaga is heading to American Idol this week to mentor the shows remaining contestants for the May 11 show in which the singers will perform songs written by the songwriting duo of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. Leiber and Stoller are famous for such hits as Jailhouse Rock, Hound Dog, There Goes My Baby and various other hits.

The four remaining contestants include on the guys side James Durbin and Scott McCreery and on the girls side Lauren Alaina and Haley Reinhart.

You may recall that Hailey ended up with less than positive praise from the judges for singing an unreleased Lady Gaga song. It will be interesting to hear what Gaga thought of her rendition, if she cares to share her viewpoint.
