Olivia Wilde Reveals: ‘My Eyebrows Are So Warped’

Olivia Wilde decided to share some of her most personal beauty tips with People Magazine on Friday. She talked about everything from lipstick to eyebrows, revealing that she herself has some pretty serious beauty hangups.

While in New York promoting the new Revlon Age Defying Collection she told the publication:

I wish I could do a red lip, but I’m more comfortable with a bold eye. I know once I do the eye, it’s done. Inevitably, I’m going to eat something [or] kiss someone hello, so I mess up lipstick pretty much immediately. I still love playing with different shades of lipstick, but if I’m going to a holiday party, and I want to feel super-confident I’m doing a metallic eye.

She went on to share her secret for good eye make-up saying:

It changes your face so much when you have your eyebrows filled in and softened. I spent years trying to look like Kate Moss with wispy thin eyebrows, which was a horrible mistake and everyone told me not to do it. So now I’m obsessed.

Olivia Wilde knows what she’s talking about when it comes to beauty, especially when it comes to getting her eyebrows just right:

It’s easier for me than a powder. I’m so fast with a pencil now too. My eyebrows are so warped from years of abuse that I brush them to the side and then I pencil in the rest. If I brush them up they look like crazy, pointy, devil horns. Everyone in my family has crazy pointy eyebrows. So I try to soften them and take them down a notch.

Olivia herself swears by the Revlon Age Defying CC cream which she uses daily and which is due to hit the streets sometime in January. She also said she likes the Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream which she said she applies liberally, like a mask.

Do you think Olivia Wilde is correct that her eyebrows are warped? Or do you think that despite the many years of abuse to them they still look good? Share your thoughts and any other beauty tips you might have in the feed below.
