Ashley Tisdale Says She’s Not Rushing Into Marriage Despite Brief Relationship

Ashley Tisdale was only with her boyfriend for a few months before she knew he was the one.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Monday, Ashley said things felt so natural with boyfriend Christopher French that marriage only seemed right.

“I was like, ‘OK, this is the guy.’ And he knew the same thing. It was just this feeling that it doesn’t get any better. I can’t explain it!” she shared. “It’s just natural between us. With other relationships, you’re trying too much and trying to make it work and then there’s just a moment when you find somebody and you’re like, ‘Holy s–t! This is so natural.’ ”

Ashley met Christopher through mutual friends, and within eight months of dating he proposed to her on the 103rd floor of the Empire State Building.

Tisdale wrote about the engagement on Twitter, saying: “Best night of my life. We’re on top of the world.”

The actress and singer said she doesn’t feel like she didn’t feel like they were rushing at all when they decided to get married.

“You know, I didn’t [think it’d happen that quickly],” she said of the couple’s brief engagement before the engagement. “I think I’ve obviously been in long relationships in the past, but I think because of knowing what I wanted, I wouldn’t have gone into a relationship, if it wasn’t what I wanted. And I think from the moment that him and I met, I just knew it.”

Though Ashley Tisdale is a big star with a lot of famous friends, but when it comes to her nuptials she’d rather keep thing small.

“Small,” Tisdale responded to Seacrest’s question about her wedding. “And as private as we can get it.”

Ashley TIsdale hasn’t said yet when the wedding will take place.
