Mass Effect 3 slips to 2012

I come with sad news for fans of Commander Shepard, high quality sci-fi action-RPGs, and human-on-alien intercourse: Mass Effect 3 just got delayed until 2012. Ah, crap.

Over on the Mass Effect Facebook page, BioWare’s Casey Hudson announced the game would now ship “in the first three months of 2012.” Apparently, the developers are “laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations.”

Still, as the third and final chapter in the Mass Effect universe, better they get this right than release something buggy as hell, right? This super franchise deserves a worthy ending.
