Justin Bieber ‘Beached Whale’ Claim Slammed As ‘Fabrication’ Amid Fatal Flaw

An allegation that Justin Bieber verbally abused a young female by calling her a “beached whale” at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Perth, Australia, has been slammed as “a complete fabrication.”

In addition, multiple eyewitnesses say there is no truth to the claim, GossipCop.com reports.

A fatal flaw in the “beached whale” accusation was revealed after a second purported witness alleged a significant detail about Bieber’s alleged behavior omitted by the first witness. [Scroll to text end.]

The denials are responses to accusations by an Australian image consultant Helen Robinett, and (now) a second, unnamed, purported witness. Both were reportedly hotel guests on Sunday (Dec. 8) and claim they heard and saw Bieber insulting a girl at the hotel’s pool deck.

“There were four young girls in bikinis,” Robinett alleges, in an original report by News.com.au.

The Melbourne-based consultant added: “One girl who was gorgeous looking, with long dark hair and would have been about a size 14. Justin looked over at her and said ‘What are you, Hawaiian or something?’ She said ‘No, I’m not’.”

“Then he said, ‘You look like a beached whale,'” Robinett claims she heard the singer say.

“The girl said ‘Are you serious[?],’ and he said,’You should go on The Biggest Loser.‘…”The whole pool deck heard him call this beautiful young girl a beached whale. Everyone heard. And there was silence.”

“It was almost like his security were used to it,” the image expert reportedly noted.

Robinett reportedly said after Bieber allegedly made the “beached whale” comment the girl looked “deflated.”

News.com.au claims an unnamed hotel guest has corroborated the accusation.

“I saw Bieber make a gesture with his hands to imitate a large belly as he spoke to the long haired girl and I heard him say something about The Biggest Loser and he was pointing at her, and I saw the girl and her friends leave, downcast,” the second witness purportedly recalled.

The woman added,”I also told her not to take any notice of him as she walked past us, I’m not sure if she heard me. Bieber seemed to think he was funny, he was smiling and looking to his burly minders for their approval.”

Robinett says she made a formal complaint to Hyatt Regency staff but was told the girl in question was “OK” and “was a Bieber fan.”

For their part the hotel have declined to confirm if they received a complaint.

As IQ has previously noted in hearsay cases or where witnesses conflict — for example the Tyler The Creator / Bieber / Keyshawn Johnson gridlock that was eventually prised open by a security video — assumptions can be mistaken.

But beyond glossies of Bieber’s charitable work and concerns about some reporting, there is one anomaly worth closer investigation.

It’s notable that an unnamed, timely witness claims Bieber physically gestured a “large belly” shape, yet this key detail is missing from Robinett’s original account.

Update: Robinett did not mention the alleged gesture in a subsequent radio interview with Sydney’s 2Day FM and has now added a “cursing” component, another alleged detail omitted from the second witness’ account.

Second Update: Hollyscoop report a non-Bieber camp eyewitness at the pool on the day in question said a female fan tried to access the VIP area, but was refused by the singer’s security team.

The source said Justin only interacted with his crew, and an apparently pleasant but brief exchange with a blonde girl seen in widely published photographs.

It’s believed the fan who was turned away fabricated the accusation.
