Tyrese Gibson Visits Paul Walker Crash Site: ‘My Heart Is Hurting So Bad’


Tyrese Gibson was a good friend of Paul Walker, who died tragically in a car crash over the weekend. In order to pay his respects, the rapper visited the site of the crash on Sunday and took a piece of the crash debris home with him.

Walker and Gibson knew each other for many years, having starred together in various Fast and Furious films. Tyrese Gibson was clearly overcome with emotion during his visit to the crash site and was pictured in floods of tears as he mourned the loss of his friend and co-star.

Gibson posted a picture of the debris he took home via his Instagram account, along with the touching caption:

“I will keep your energy with me forever #AshesOfAnAngel fast family around the world we live you and we love you. Paul is the heartbeat of this franchise and we’re gonna see to it that his energy and presence lives on forever #myhearthurtssobad.”

Scores of bereaved fans have left hundreds of flowers and other tokens of respect at the site following the untimely and fatal crash which killed Paul Walker on Saturday.

Walker was in the passenger seat of a Porsche Carrera GT when the car hit a pole and burst into flames.

After hearing the sad news that Walker had died, Tyrese Gibson posted a picture of the two of them on Instagram. He posted the following words with that picture:

“My heart is hurting so bad no one can make me believe this is real Father God I pray that you send clarity over this cause I just don’t understand My heart hurts it’s broken no one can convince me that this is real…. Prayer warriors please pray real hard for his only child, his daughter and family… My God… My God… I can’t believe I’m writing this.”

The death of Paul Walker has left friends, family and the general public in shock. Tyrese Gibson’s face when he visited the site, together with his heartfelt words via Instagram, aptly express his feelings.
