Who could ever forget the controversy over the Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair photo shoot last year that had the then 15 year old star semi-naked in a heroin chic pose. At the time Cyrus said that she was embarrassed by the pictures, but what a difference a year makes:
“Everyone outside of America liked it a little bit more, because that’s more like the style, but the States are really conservative. I just had to deal with that and just realize that I got to work with an amazing photographer.”
“She was amazing and so talented and her lighting … I would love to work with her again. But I realize I’m just a kid…My parents are really chilled with me until I give them a reason not to be, so hopefully I’ll never give them a reason.”
In related Cyrus news, a report possibly from Star (I can’t view it, it’s blocked here for some reason) is suggesting that Cyrus is in discussions with her attorney about filing a Petition of Emancipation form after arguing with her parents over her relationship with 20-year-old underwear model Justin Gaston.
A legal emancipation, essentially parent divorce would give Miley total control over her career, finances, and decisions.
I think we can take the last part with a grain of salt.

haha! I would've done the same if I was in her shoes.
Miley's smart, and she defitently know what shes doing.
But Miley, if you are reading this. Just remember what you said a year back.
You're here- all the fame, all da stuff- God give it to you. Just don't forget that. You inspired me when I was down, and hopefully after reading this post it'll remind you to put God in first place. Pray to God, and he'll give you the answer- Lawers would help, but it's God that have ultimate control.

The emancipation would most likely get her out of her contract with Disney, which is what some people say the reason for wanting amancipation is. I've also read that it is a rumor, as many things in Hollywood are. I think we should wait and see what happens. Whatever happens, everyone knows we'll hear about it; for a good long while.
