Miley Cyrus wants to do a new Vanity Fair photo shoot, and divorce parents

Who could ever forget the controversy over the Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair photo shoot last year that had the then 15 year old star semi-naked in a heroin chic pose. At the time Cyrus said that she was embarrassed by the pictures, but what a difference a year makes:

“Everyone outside of America liked it a little bit more, because that’s more like the style, but the States are really conservative. I just had to deal with that and just realize that I got to work with an amazing photographer.”

“She was amazing and so talented and her lighting … I would love to work with her again. But I realize I’m just a kid…My parents are really chilled with me until I give them a reason not to be, so hopefully I’ll never give them a reason.”

In related Cyrus news, a report possibly from Star (I can’t view it, it’s blocked here for some reason) is suggesting that Cyrus is in discussions with her attorney about filing a Petition of Emancipation form after arguing with her parents over her relationship with 20-year-old underwear model Justin Gaston.

A legal emancipation, essentially parent divorce would give Miley total control over her career, finances, and decisions.

I think we can take the last part with a grain of salt.
