Jennifer Lopez May Be Leaving American Idol For Latin Talent Show

Rumors began circulating on Thursday that Jennifer Lopez could be leaving American Idol to host a Latin talent show.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Lopez and husband Mrac Anthony have signed deals with Idol creator Simon Fuller to co-host a show called Que Viva which will search for undiscovered talent in Latin America.

Throughout season 10 of American Idol Lopez has hated letting singers go, regardless of their talent level, in some levels openly weeping for their dismissal, it’s still unclear what type of role she would take on the new show.

When asked if she would stick around for Season 11 of American Idol she answered:

“I don’t know if I will do another season. I’m taking it day by day at the moment, and we’ll see what happens.”

Only time will tell if the superstar decides to pull a double shift with two shows located in different countries. There is of course the possibility that Que Viva will air during the opposite time of year from American Idol.
