NeNe Leakes Rushed To Hospital With Blood Clots On Lungs

NeNe Leakes has been rushed to hospital with what appears to be blood clots on her lungs.

She said soon after she was treated in the hospital:

“I’m thankful to be alive as the doctor advised me that most people don’t recognize the symptoms of blood clots and don’t go to the doctor and that’s when the big problems start happening. Contrary to published reports I did not have a heart attack.”

She added that she had a “wonderful experience” with the doctors and nurses who took care of her during her treatment. NeNe Leakes said she felt: “blessed to be home with my wonderful Husband [Gregg Leakes] and family!”

It’s no wonder NeNe is feeling under the weather – have you seen her schedule? Not only has she been balancing her reality shows, Real Housewives of Atlanta and I Dream of NeNe, she also is busy with sitcoms Glee and The New Normal.

In a Tweet which she sent from her Twitter account from the hospital, she said: “My arms are hurting wit these IV’s

The reality TV star also posted a photo on her official website showing the IVs in her arms and her in somewhat less than flattering hospital garb. Although, in the pic, her nails were manicured beautifully, which is amazing under the circumstances.

On Sunday night, NeNe Leakes Tweeted that she had been feeling unwell: “Thanks 4 tuning into RHOA 2nite! I have been very sick for the past couple of days but I wanted 2 Thank my tweetie pies.”

When she got a Tweet back from one of her followers who said: “She has the most grueling schedule of any celebrity,” NeNe gave a nod, in not so many words, Tweeting back: “I work my butt off.”
