Jennifer Aniston And Her New Hairstyle: ‘I’m Trying Really Hard To Love This One’

Jennifer Aniston has cut her hair short. WOW! This is the hottest news out of Hollywood?

Chris McMillan, Aniston’s long-suffering hair stylist, has chopped a few inches off of her famous flowing locks.

Jennifer – of “Friends” fame, and also the star of “we’re the Millers,” – left her Los Angeles apartment on Monday to reveal the new Aniston look. Well, maybe not SO new; she’s had it all of a week!

Aniston, now 44, (can you believe that?) told Pop Sugar, “It’s short It’s at my jawline and a little shorter in the back,” She added, “I was just ready for a change. I was ready for something new, to get it out of my face, so I could have a bit of an easier go at it.”

Aniston says that she usually keeps her hair “up in a scrunchie of some sort” but couldn’t stop talking about her new look.

In an interview with with Elle UK, Jennifer gushed, “It wasn’t for a role. My hair went through a phase—I did this thing called a Brazilian and my hair did not react really well to it,” she explained. “It’s about 2-inches above my shoulders now.”

Celebrity hairdresser McMillan — who’s also tamed the tresses of Miley Cyrus, Freida Pinto and Paris Hilton — recently gave Jane Krakowski a chic bob haircut just before the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 22.

Aniston is still deciding if she really is hooked on her latest look. “The minute I cut my hair I want it back. Always. It’s a guarantee,” she told Elle U. “I’m trying really hard to love this one.”

It’s not the first time that Jennifer Aniston has opted for a new look. In 2001, she told McMillan she “wanted a different look,” and her wish was his command.

McMillan claims that “I’m always inspired by iconic women—anyone from Mia Farrow and Julie Christie to Brigitte Bardot and Peggy Moffitt. Faye Dunaway’s hairstyle in Bonnie and Clyde was the inspiration for Jen’s bob,” McMillian said in an interview with Elle from 2009. “It was fun — you know, she likes to chop her hair off about every five years. We’ll even her hair up and lop off a few inches.”

So, what do you think about Jennifer Aniston’s new haircut? Why should you care? Why should anyone care?
