Avril Lavigne Isn’t Miley Cyrus, Avoids Nude Photos, Alcohol, And Partying

The only thing Avril Lavigne and Miley Cyrus have in common is a singing career since Avril Lavigne apparently tries to avoid any temptation to act out wild due to her marriage to Chad Kroeger.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, we won’t see Avril Lavigne nude in paparazzi photos any time soon and she likes it that way.

Unlike Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne bluntly says she won’t sex up her image for the music industry:

“I don’t know, people can dress the way they want to dress, I dress how I want to dress. I’ve always dressed differently and done my own thing and not followed the trend.”

Katy Perry agrees, even slamming Miley Cyrus indirectly when she was asked about nude pop stars:

“Like females in pop – everybody’s getting naked. I mean, I’ve been naked before but I don’t feel like I have to always get naked to be noticed. I’m not talking about anyone in particular. I’m talking about all of them. I mean, it’s like everybody’s so naked. It’s like put it away. We know you’ve got it. I got it too…. I’m just saying sometimes it’s nice to play that card but also it’s nice to play other cards. And I know I have that sexy card in my deck but I don’t always have to use that card.”

Avril Lavigne is different from other Hollywood celebrities in other ways. Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger say they try not to spend more than two weeks apart even when their separate bands are touring. Avril Lavigne says Chad has “been really supportive and coming out with me, which is awesome. I’ve never really had that before, and it makes it better.”

For Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger “true happiness” is snuggling up in bed and watching a movie together. They feel that being home together is almost like a vacation compared to their hectic rock star lives. And they’re talking about having a baby:

“We both want (kids). We just need to find a time we’re both at home to get around to it. With this crazy lifestyle, you relish the time you can be quiet.”

The happily married couple even have a set of marriage rules which they follow when they’re separate from each other:

“We don’t drink when we’re apart. Ever. Even if we’re apart for weeks. We want to protect what we have. We don’t want to go anywhere that you’re asking for trouble, [like nightclubs.] I don’t want to be in Europe texting her, like ‘Where are you?’ ” he says. This way we don’t have to worry about any of that stuff.”
