Woman Allegedly Drove Truck Over Boyfriend For Refusing To Stop At McDonald’s

A Tennessee woman apparently wasn’t lovin’ it when her live-in boyfriend wouldn’t stop at McDonald’s to get something to eat.

Given what happened next, you could say it was a Big Mac attack.

The woman was so mad about the fast-food fail that she allegedly allegedly drove over the man three times according to local police. The incident occurred just after midnight last Wednesday in Kingsport, Tenn.

Another man who witnessed what happened told police that the apparently very hungry and very upset woman demanded that her boyfriend pull over and stop the vehicle. She then got then behind the wheel and allegedly struck him three times. The responding officer in the police report wrote that “I observed abrasions on [the boyfriend’s] arm and back. I observed his clothing appeared torn, consistent with being dragged on the payment.”

All three of them apparently had been drinking, according to the witness interview.

The woman denied trying to run him over with the truck and instead contended that her boyfriend “jumped on the hood.” The couple have a child together.

Fortunately the victim evidently was not serious injured, and the officer drove him to a friend’s home.

Police arrested the woman on a charge of aggravated assault.

Although this particular incident occurred away from the premises, violent or weird incidents at fast-food restaurants seems to be on the rise, and a cottage industry of YouTube videos of brawls depicting fast-food rage has sprung up.

It’s not clear if the couple in this incident were headed to the drive-thru, but the takeout window has also at times become particularly hazardous. In a recent incident, for example, a man allegedly groped a female Arby’s drive-thru worker as she handed him his food at the window. Police managed to apprehend the man by following a trail of curly fries and sauce.
