Soldier’s Pregnant Wife Beaten While On FaceTime With Deployed Husband

A soldier’s pregnant wife was brutally beaten while she was on FaceTime with her husband, deployed in Southwest Asia unable to come to help her.

The terrifying incident took place at the couple’s home in El Paso, while Rachel Poole, who was pregnant with her first child, talked to her husband Justin on FaceTime.

Justin heard his wife’s screams as she was savagely beaten and repeatedly stabbed, more importantly, she said her attacker’s name, who is known to both of them.

The soldier, who’s wife was being attacked right before his eyes, while he was on the other side of the world, unable to defend her, took to Facebook for help.

He posted a message about the alleged attacker, Corey Bernard Moss and also called the suspect’s colleagues at Fort Bliss, where he apparently knew Moss was training to be a soldier.

“If u are seeing this message find out what f***** hospital my wife is in and tell me the f***** whereabouts of Corey Moss,” Justin Poole reportedly wrote on his Facebook account. “He f***** went to my house while I’m deployed and stabbed her…today.”

The chilling words had the desired effect as Moss, 19, was arrested soon after returning to base and is being held on $150,000 bond on attempted murder charges, according to ABC.com.

After the attack, Rachel Poole, 31, was able to call 911 and was taken to a local hospital with stab wounds, fractures to her face and body, and a collapsed lung.

A cesarean section was performed to deliver a healthy baby girl, whom they named Isabella and who according to Rachel Poole’s mother is in good health.

The soldier’s wife who was allegedly beaten by Corey Moss is still fighting for her life, but her husband Justin Poole remains hopeful that she will pull through this, posting on Facebook:

“She is strong responding Isabella is still alive as well. Will update Facebook on what exactly happened and is still happening. As well as the surgeries needed when I get back to the states. P****d off is an understatement. I promised to give my life for this freedom not the other way around. I failed her, but never again.”

Fox News reports the attack stemmed from damages Moss made on the soldier’s car, which he had borrowed while Poole was stationed overseas.

Moss allegedly went to the house to confront Rachel Poole about expenses related to the vehicle’s repairs.

The soldier’s pregnant wife who was beaten in the attack remains in the hospital in critical condition.
