Suge Knight Wants Tupac Added To The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Suge Knight has a very simple request: Put Tupac on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The former Death Row Records CEO isn’t happy that the late rapper wasn’t properly honored by the celebrity-obsessed organization. In his opinion, it’s a crime that Tupac hasn’t received any recognition for his contributions to the world of music and film.

According to Vibe, Suge Knight was recently asked about Kayne West’s decision to cancel several of his upcoming shows. Before too long, the conversation turned to Tupac and the absence of a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame. If the rapper isn’t properly recognized, then Knight says things could get ugly.

“[Kanye West] want Kim Kardashian to have a star on Hollywood Boulevard, right. I think Tupac should have a star on there. I mean s***, Puffy got a star on there. Only thing he did was dance. But I think Tupac should definitely have one, being from the West Coast,” Knight explained to the folks at TMZ.

He added, “They better do it one way or the other, because I figure if they don’t put Tupac on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, all the Tupac fans and homies are gonna start scratching names off. They might even move the others to put Tupac there.”

In case you missed it, The Inquisitr previously reported that Kim Kardashian was recently rejected for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Although the organization said they didn’t have anything against the reality star, she simply didn’t meet the necessarily requirements for inclusion.

“We don’t have reality stars on the Walk of Fame. We don’t have a category for it. We’re happy to consider reality stars once they get nominated for, or win, an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar. We’ll consider them when they’re legitimate actors or singers,” spokeswoman Ana Martinez recently told the New York Daily News.

She added, “I know [Kanye] loves [Kim], and it’s all very sweet. But she doesn’t qualify. I hate to say it, but a lot of people just don’t like her. No one has ever nominated her.”

In regards to Tupac, Suge Knight might have a very valid point. The rapper’s influence permeates through music, movies, and video games. There’s even a rumor that Rockstar Games included a Tupac lookalike in their open-world crime saga Grand Theft Auto V.

Do you agree with Suge Knight that Tupac deserves as star on Walk of Fame?
