PlayStation Plus November 2013 Freebies

The PlayStation Plus November 2013 freebies, as you may have guessed, include PS4 titles alongside the usual PlayStation 3 and PS Vita games. After all, the PlayStation 4 is being released in just over two weeks and it marks a definite expansion on Sony’s array of gaming choices.

PlayStation Plus members will encounter seven new digital additions on the PlayStation Network to keep Sony’s gamers occupied well into December. The best part is that they’re all free.

The free titles available for PlayStation Plus November 2013 include:

PlayStation 4

• Contrast is a light-based platformer starring a young girl and her imaginary friend who can flatten herself into a shadow to solve puzzles from area to area. Dawn is Didi’s shadow in a quest to discover the secrets surrounding her troubled family.
• Resogun is a classic side-scrolling space shooter which brings old-school gameplay to the next generation.

PlayStation 3

• Binary Domain is a first-person futuristic shooter set in Tokyo in 2080. It’s a battle for humanity in the city’s underworld as you’re faced with the question of whether mankind is becoming more like the machines, or the other way around. One of the main men behind Sega‘s biggest hits is responsible for this one.

• Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is a role-playing game set in the usual dark past. An island off the coast has just appeared, and it’s up to you to make your way through where several have failed, and discover the island‘s secrets.
• Ibb and Obb is a two player puzzle game where gravity goes both ways, up and down. The two of you must work together to make your way through a world where you can fall either way, and even discover new levels which defy the very laws of physics. This is one of the more unusual games free for members of PlayStation Plus in November 2013.

PS Vita

• Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD is the upgraded remake of the spinoff to the quirky but fun Abe’s Oddysee for PlayStation. You play a bounty hunter searching for troublemakers and the like and bringing them back to jail.

• Soul Sacrifice is an odd kind of action role-playing game where more powerful attacks will literally cost you a limb, or even your soul. You play an escaped slave who happens upon a magic book which allows you to relive the memories of great warriors.
