Matt Lauer Steals The Show Dressed As Pamela Anderson
Matt Lauer stole the show this morning as he showed up on The Today Show set dressed as Pamela Anderson. Not only did he take on one of Playboy’s most famous models, he also dressed in her famous Baywatch one-piece bathing suit.
Throw in a flowing blonde mane and Matt Lauer definitely one-upped Good Morning America opponent and host George Stephanopoulos who dressed as an astronaut with a full bevy of gear.
The men and women of The Today Show went with an 80’s sitcom theme based around The Flintstones, A-Team, CHiPs, and others.
Other roles included Willie Geist as a hairy-chested David Hasselhoff, Al Roker as Mr. T, and Savannah Guthrie and Natalie Morales as Laverne & Shirley.
Okay so maybe Matt Lauer couldn’t recreate Pamela Anderson’s famous curves but that didn’t stop the crowd from hooting and hollering as he revealed his gender-bending Halloween costume during one of the shows most well-liked segments.
In a nod to the classic Baywatch series Matt Lauer ran out onto the Today Show set in slow motion. The cast was joined by former Baywatch star Carmen Electra. She appeared on the show in 1997 and 1998.
Carson Daly was also on set, arriving on the back of a motorcycle driven by former CHiPs star, Erik Estrada. Daly was dressed in a blond wig and shades to recreate Larry Wilcox’s role?
Kathie Lee and Hoda showed up in a Flinstones car dressed as Wilma Flinstone and Betty Rubble. The women wore a full ensemble of massive pearls, hairbows and grins.

If Matt Lauer dressings as a women seems familiar that’s because he has dressed as Paris Hilton and Jennifer Lopez in the past. The Jennifer Lopez appearance was his most memorable as he chose to wear her cut-away green dress.
Fans of The Today Show also got in on the spirit, arriving to watch the show while dressed as ghouls, goblins, witches, and various other Halloween costumes.
