Liberty Ross Opens Up About Husband’s Affair With Kristen Stewart

Liberty Ross opened up about her husband’s affair with Kristen Stewart for the first time this week in a candid interview with Vanity Fair.

In the summer of 2012, Stewart and Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders had an affair. Shortly after the paparazzi captured photos of the two kissing, Ross filed for divorce from Sanders.

Ross told the magazine that Sanders came clean about the affair about 20 hours before the scandalous photos hit the internet.

Ross said: “It was horrible. It was really the worst… I have no words to describe what we went through.”

Liberty said that she was shocked to hear the news about Sanders’ affair with Kristen Stewart, but at the same time, she wasn’t too surprised. Ross said that she had a bad feeling and that she knew things weren’t 100% right.

Ross said: “I knew that I wasn’t feeling 100 percent right. I found myself on a roller coaster, like, I’m going to keep things moving, keep things going. I’m going to keep up this amazing [façade], everyone looking at me and Rupert, thinking, Oh, wow, you guys have it all…. Really, I had times when I felt very lonely, very disconnected from Rupert. We’d lost our real connection.”

Liberty tried to keep up the facade of a perfect marriage, but once Sanders admitted that he had cheated on her she knew that it was over.

Ross said: “I’m not a quitter… I’ve done everything I could to be the perfect wife and mother and really support my husband. But I just didn’t have any more to give, you know?”

On the bright side, Liberty Ross said that she is looking forward to her future. The actress said that she has gone through a “rebirth” in the wake of the affair.

Ross said: “I think, for me, something always has to completely die for there to be a rebirth. And, for me, I feel like I’m going through a rebirth.”
